Mariarosaria Taddeo works at Digital Ethics Lab at the Oxford Internet Institute and is Fellow at the Alan Turing Institute. Her recent work focuses mainly on data ethics and ethics of cyber conflicts, her area of expertise is Philosophy and Ethics of Information. Dr. Taddeo published several papers focusing on online trust, cyber security and cyber warfare. She is the 2010 recipient of the Simon Award for Outstanding Research in Computing and Philosophy and of the 2013 World Technology Award for Ethics. Since 2016, she serves as editor-in-chief of Minds & Machines (Springer) and as co-editor-in-chief of Philosophical Studies Series (Springer). She is also Fellow of the Council on the Future of Cybersecurity of the World Economic Forum.
